There is one address, it is read, and a correction with a document reference attached is the fastest thing that can happen to a page here.
The address
Write to contact at pciexpressdevnet dot org. That is the only channel. There is no form on this site, no telephone number, no postal address and no social account, and any message that appears to come from this publication through another channel did not.
What makes a correction fast
The desk acts on corrections in the order it can verify them, not in the order they arrive. A message that names the page, quotes the sentence and gives the document, revision and page number that contradicts it can usually be checked the same day. A message that says a figure is wrong without saying which document says otherwise has to be researched from scratch and waits behind everything else.
If a claim on this site turns out to be wrong, the page is corrected and the correction is dated in the bench notes. The desk does not quietly edit a factual claim and pretend it was always right.
What the desk will not do
The desk does not answer product selection questions, does not debug a specific board, does not confirm whether a particular part is compliant and does not put readers in touch with vendors. Those questions belong to the supplier of the part or to the body that runs the compliance program. Pointing at the right document is something the desk will happily do.
Requests for links, guest articles and paid placement are covered by the sponsored content policy and are answered by pointing at it.
Rights and reuse
The text on this site is written here and the photographs are produced for it. Quoting a paragraph with a link back is welcome and needs no permission. Republishing a whole page is not, and a request to do so should say where and why. Where a page reproduces a short passage from a specification or a vendor document, that passage is quoted and attributed, and the request to reuse it belongs to the publisher of the original, not to this desk.
What happens to a message
A message is read by the people who write the pages. It is kept in the mailbox while the exchange is useful, it is not added to any list, and it is not passed to anyone. If the message leads to a change on the site, the change appears in the bench notes with its date, and the person who reported it is not named unless they ask to be.
